The Co-Curricular Activities Committee (ECACO) strives to make every Hwa Chong student feel at home through forging a strong sense of school spirit. This will be achieved through supporting the school's Co-Curricular Activities, contributing to and promoting Hwa Chong's rich culture of song, dance and cheer (SODACHE) and providing opportunities to establish a strong school identity in school-wide events. The 44th ECACO hopes to inspire more students to love and appreciate the unique and vibrant culture of Hwa Chong, as well as to create a fun and enriching Hwa Chong experience for all.
ECACO

The 44th PubCo aims to let the voices of the students be heard and to streamline communication between the school, the Council and the students. The committee does this by managing a multitude of social media platforms, namely Instagram, Youtube, HCunite, Twitter, and Facebook - all of which are frequently updated with fresh content, so be sure to give them all a look. PubCo also produces Hwa Chong’s very own in-house publication, MOCH (Hwa Chong’s Own Magazine). Conceptualised as a trilogy of issues for the coming year, and with a redesigned concept, we promise you exciting content that aims to capture the essence of life in Hwa Chong. Though you may not see us often, every pixel and every drop of paint in Council's websites and banners are results of our passion to making your school life more vibrant. Whether it's hours adjusting alignments, or painting banners, we work in hope that we make Hwa Chong a more beautiful and exciting home for all of us!

The Social and Relations Committee (SnR) primarily seeks to connect and build strong bonds between the Council and the Student Body, as well as between each and every member of Hwa Chong. SnR works towards this goal through the leadership of Faculty Heads, and seeks to build a family within each of the respective faculties (Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Athena) while bonding all four faculties as one Hwa Chong. Working together and combining the work of every member, SnR strives to make school life more vibrant for all, and to forge a strong Hwa Chong spirit, where Hwa Chong can be a home for all to identify with.

A closely-knit team, the Welfare Committee (WelCo) aims to serve the school wholeheartedly with sincerity and dedication, by implementing meaningful welfare initiatives according to the needs of the student population. Adopting an objective stand, the committee serves as a bridge of communication between the school administration and student population; To provide a listening ear to students and to voice their desires to the school, and to explain the school’s stand and rationale to the students. Through this link, the Welfare Committee hopes to facilitate understanding and achieve transparency between both parties. In essence, the committee will give their utmost to create a more conducive environment, to make the Hwa Chong home for both staff and students alike. Because in WelCo, “Your Welfare is our Affair”.
