ELECTIONS PROCESS
EXPOSE I
20 February (Tues), and 22 February (Thurs)
1730h - 1900h, at AV Theatre
Councillors will be giving an introduction to the structure of council as well as the things we do. There will also be a briefing on the Elections procedure. This is a good opportunity for interested students to find out more about Council and get their queries answered.
Do note that the same content will be covered on both sessions.
Candidates are required to complete the following:
1) Download and complete the Application/Consent Form. (Parents' Signature required)
2) Make a photocopy of the completed Application/Consent Form.
3) Complete the Online Sign-up form here.
4) Pick an Interview Slot here. (Deadline for this is extended to 25/02, 1000h)
5) Check this website from 25/02, 2100h onwards to find out your confirmed interview slot.

SIGN-UPS
INTERVIEWS
26 February (Mon) to 1 March (Thurs)
The interview panel consists of Council Teachers and members of the 44th Students' Council Executive Committee.
Candidates are required to:
- Report to holding room (A208) 15 minutes before their interview slot, in full school uniform
- Bring along 2 hard copies of the Application/Consent Form (1 original 1 photocopied)
2 March (Fri)
Candidates will be given a briefing on the campaigning protocol.
Allocation of campaign groups will also be released on 02/03 before Expose II (Check downloads section).
Approval of Materials (AOM) I
Deadline: 8 March (Wed), 2200h
First Approval of Materials:
Candidates are required to email their campaign proposals to 44hcsceleco@gmail.com by 2200h.

Approval of Materials (AOM) II
16 March (Fri)
Second Approval of Materials:
Candidates are required to bring ALL campaign materials for approval. Budget check will also be conducted.
APPROVAL OF IOC MATERIALS
Deadline: 23 March (Fri), 2200h
Campaign groups are required to submit their IOC proposal (which includes candidates' script and powerpoint presentation) to 44hcsceleco@gmail.com for approval by 2200h.
CAMPAIGNING
23 March (Fri) to 2 April (Mon)
Campaigning Week:
Campaign groups will only be allowed to put up approved publicity materials from 23/03 0600h onwards.
All publicity material must be taken down by 02/04, 1500h.
INTRODUCTION OF CANDIDATES
28 March (Wed), 1330h - 1530h
All candidates are required to report to Inner Plaza at 0700h for a briefing.
All candidates are then expected to report to their respective Faculty Venues for IOC at 1315h. Candidates will be given 8 minutes (per group) to introduce their campaign groups, followed by 1 minute each for their individual introductions.
QnA and General Elections
2 April (Mon)
All candidates will take turns to answer questions from their respective faculties. This will be the last chance for candidates to convince their peers that they are the right people for the role.
Following which, each faculty will vote for candidates whom they feel are deserving of a place in Council.
Release of Elections Results
2 April (Mon)
Results will be announced via the PA System any time after 1600h. All candidates are to stay back in school to wait for the announcement.
Successful candidates will be required to stay back in school until approximately 2200h for briefings and activities.

We advise all candidates to thoroughly read through the Elections Information Booklet to ensure they are fully versed with the elections procedure.
